The domestic equity market was trading lower on Wednesday. Sensex fell 437 points to 69,113 and Nifty slipped 132 pts to 20,773 mark.

Shares of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd (IREDA) rose for the sixth straight session today. The stock, which closed at Rs 63.04 on December 5, 2023 hit its lifetime high of Rs 112.16 on December 13 today. The stock rose 10% intraday.
Shares of Tata Power Co Ltd hit a record high today. Tata Power stock hit an all-time high of Rs 340.45, rising 2.91% in the morning session. The market cap of Tata Power zoomed to Rs 1.07 lakh crore. In the afternoon session, a total of 26.68 lakh shares of the firm changed hands amounting to a high turnover of Rs 89.90 crore on BSE.
Shares of Tanla Platforms zoomed 19.72% to Rs 1108 today. The market cap of Tanla Platforms climbed to Rs 14,738 crore. In the afternoon session, a total of 7.92 lakh shares of the firm changed hands amounting to a high turnover of Rs 81.82 crore on BSE.
Shares of Force Motors Ltd rose over 2% today after the company's board gave its consent to buy stake in the subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy. Force Motors stock gained 2.61% to Rs 3780 against the previous close of Rs 3683.80 on BSE. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 4857.36 crore on BSE.
